Apsan observatory which is situated in Apsan park, Daegu, South Korea is the best place to visit to see the panoramic view of whole city of Daegu.
I suggest you better visit here either early in the morning (at sunrise) or at sunset.
Transportation:- Take subway line 1 from Daegu station to Anjirang Station. Take exit no:4. Take 410-1 bus and get down at the last station. When you come back take 410 bus (not 410-1) to Anjirang fourway junction (안지랑 사거리) and take the subway.

I visited Apsan observatory on 22nd October 2017, on the very same day I went on hiking nearly 20 kms along the trails connecting Sanseong Mt, Cheongryong Mt and Daedeok Mt which are in the same Apsan park.
I suggest you better visit here either early in the morning (at sunrise) or at sunset.
You can reach here either by walking (about 1 hr) along the hiking trail or by cable car (about 15 mins). For a round trip by cable car, it was 9500 won and for one way trip it was 7500 won per adult.
